HouseCall Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information HouseCall collects about you, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

HouseCall is a physician mortgage lead-matching service operated by Machaira Marketing, LLC (“Machaira Marketing,” “HouseCall,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It covers the HouseCall website at housecallloans.com and any forms, tools, calculators, and content offered through it (the “Site”).

This policy is for consumers: physicians, dentists, veterinarians, and other healthcare professionals who visit the Site or submit a mortgage inquiry. Lenders and mortgage professionals who receive inquiries from HouseCall are covered by a separate written agreement, not by this policy.

Your use of the Site indicates that you have read and understand this policy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Use.

1. The Short Version

  • HouseCall is an advertising-supported service. It is free to you because lenders pay us.
  • If you submit the inquiry form, we send what you entered to one or more matched lenders so they can contact you about a mortgage.
  • Those lenders will call, text, or email you. That is the point of the service, and it is what you are agreeing to when you submit the form.
  • If you do not want your information given to a lender, do not submit the form. You can still read everything on the Site.
  • We do not sell your information to data brokers, advertising networks, or list buyers. Because lenders pay us for matched inquiries, sending your inquiry to a matched lender may still count as a “sale” or as “sharing” under some state privacy laws. Section 10 explains what that means for you.

The rest of this policy explains each of those points in detail.

2. Information You Give Us

When you submit the inquiry form on the Site, we collect what you enter:

  • your first and last name;
  • your email address;
  • your phone number;
  • your professional degree or designation, such as MD, DO, DDS, DMD, DPM, DVM, OD, or PharmD;
  • your training status, such as resident, fellow, or attending;
  • the state where you are buying;
  • the loan amount and down payment amount you are considering;
  • the type of home, the type of mortgage, and how you intend to use the property.

You may also give us information if you email us, reply to a message from us, or contact us with a question.

We do not ask for your Social Security number, your date of birth, your credit report, your bank account or card numbers, or copies of your financial documents. Please do not send those to us. A lender may ask for them later as part of an actual mortgage application, and that exchange is between you and the lender.

3. Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically receive certain technical information:

  • your IP address;
  • your browser type, device type, and operating system;
  • the pages you view on the Site and the dates and times you view them;
  • the website, ad, or search that sent you to us, and the first page you landed on.

If you arrive from an online ad or a marketing link, we also record the campaign identifiers attached to that link. These commonly include utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, and utm_content, and click identifiers such as gclid from Google, fbclid from Meta, and msclkid from Microsoft. We use these to understand which advertising is working. They are attached to your inquiry when you submit the form.

4. Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses Google Analytics to measure traffic and understand how visitors use our pages. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and receives the technical information described in the section above.

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not stop you from reading the Site or submitting the form.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics specifically by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available from Google.

The Site does not currently run advertising pixels from social networks, retargeting networks, or third-party ad exchanges. If that changes, we will update this policy.

5. Why We Collect This Information

We use the information described above to:

  • match your inquiry to lenders whose physician mortgage program fits what you told us;
  • pass your inquiry to those lenders so they can contact you;
  • send you an email confirming that your inquiry went through and telling you who it went to;
  • answer questions you send us;
  • check that the email address and phone number submitted are valid and reachable, which reduces fraud and junk submissions;
  • understand which pages, articles, and ads bring people to the Site, so we can spend our advertising budget sensibly;
  • keep the Site secure and working, and detect abuse;
  • meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations.

6. Who We Share Your Information With

Matched lenders. This is the core of the service. When you submit the form, we transmit your name, contact information, professional designation, training status, state, and the loan details you entered to one or more participating mortgage lenders, loan officers, or mortgage companies. We also transmit the campaign identifiers described in Section 3, which tell us and the lender where the inquiry originated.

Service providers. We use outside companies to run the business. They may handle your information only to do the job we hired them for, and they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. These currently include our website host, our database and application platform, our transactional email provider, our contact-validation providers, and Google Analytics.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we are required to by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to investigate fraud, protect our rights or property, or protect the safety of any person.

Business transfers. If Machaira Marketing, LLC is sold, merged, or reorganized, or if its assets are acquired, information collected through the Site may transfer as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your information to data brokers, list brokers, advertising networks, or anyone else who is not a lender we matched you with.

7. What Sharing With a Lender Actually Means

This section is the most important one in this policy. Please read it before you submit the form.

Once we send your inquiry to a lender, that lender may contact you by phone, by text message, or by email, including through automated dialing or messaging systems where permitted by law. You may receive these calls or texts even if your number is listed on the National Do Not Call Registry or a state equivalent, because submitting the form is an inquiry that invites contact.

HouseCall itself will only email you. We do not call or text you.

Once a lender has your information, that lender’s own privacy policy governs what it does with it. We do not control how long a lender keeps your information, whether it contacts you again later, or how it uses the information internally. If you want a lender to stop contacting you, tell that lender directly, and it must honor your request under applicable law.

If any part of this is not what you want, do not submit the form.

8. How We Are Paid

Lenders pay Machaira Marketing, LLC for the inquiries we send them. That is how HouseCall stays free for you.

Being paid by lenders does not mean we will tell you a lender is the best or cheapest option for you. Which lenders participate in HouseCall is a commercial matter; which of them we match you with is based on the information you provided and on each lender’s stated program requirements.

Participating lenders are only some of the lenders offering physician mortgages. You are free to get quotes from lenders that are not part of HouseCall, and you are under no obligation to work with anyone we introduce you to.

9. Your Choices

Do not submit. You can read every article, guide, and calculator on the Site without giving us anything. The inquiry form is the only place we collect your identity.

HouseCall email. Every non-essential email we send has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops our marketing email. It does not stop a lender from contacting you, and it does not delete your inquiry.

Lender contact. Ask the lender directly to stop. They are required to honor it.

Calling and texting rules. HouseCall and participating lenders comply with applicable telemarketing and do-not-call requirements under federal law and the laws of the states where consumers are contacted, including Nebraska’s Telephone Solicitation Act. Calls and texts are made only during permitted hours and in accordance with prior express consent obtained through the inquiry form.

Cookies and analytics. Block or clear cookies in your browser, or use Google’s opt-out add-on, as described in Section 4.

10. State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of certain kinds of sharing. Several states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia, provide rights along these lines, and the list of states continues to grow.

Under some of these laws, giving your information to a lender who pays us may be treated as a “sale” or as “sharing” of personal information even though we are simply performing the service you asked for. We disclose this plainly so you can decide before you submit the form.

To make a request, email us at the address in Section 17 and tell us what you want. We will ask you to confirm the request came from you before we act on it. We will not treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.

One limit worth stating honestly: once your inquiry has already gone to a lender, we can delete our copy, but we cannot delete the lender’s copy. You would need to make that request to the lender. HouseCall requires participating lenders by contract to comply with applicable privacy, deletion, and do-not-call obligations, and we will forward revocation requests to the matched lender where appropriate.

11. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep inquiry records for as long as we need them to operate the business, resolve disputes with lenders about whether an inquiry was delivered, and meet our legal and tax recordkeeping obligations.

We keep website analytics data on the retention schedule set in Google Analytics.

You can ask us to delete your information as described in Section 10.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect the information we hold. Traffic to and from the Site is encrypted in transit, and access to our lead database is limited to accounts that need it.

No website or database is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that information transmitted over the internet is immune from interception or that our safeguards can never be defeated. You send information to us at your own risk.

13. Children

The Site is meant for adults. We do not direct the Site to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us at the address in Section 17.

14. United States Only

HouseCall is intended for use in the United States, and the mortgage products discussed on the Site are United States products. Our systems and our service providers store information in the United States.

If you access the Site from outside the United States, you are sending your information to the United States for processing and storage.

15. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. There is no agreed industry standard for how a website should respond to it, and the Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. The cookie and analytics choices in Section 4 and Section 9 remain available to you.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the “Last Updated” date at the top of the page.

If we make a change that meaningfully affects how we handle information we already hold about you, we will give notice on the Site, and by email where we have your address and the change requires it.
